So I’m just sitting on the couch, working, and all of a sudden I smell it – I smell the rain. And it’s blowing SIDEWAYS, at great force. And it’s thundering. Perhaps even lightning? So of course what does anyone think at that moment:
You’re welcome. I’m always doing this for you.
p.s. edit: the intense storm lasted for 2.5 minutes. it was an hour’s worth of storm squeezed into 2.5 minutes, i kid you not!

so funny, thanks for a laugh today

it gave me a giggle too.
It’s been 100+ all week. What I’d give for a few minutes of intense storm!

yeah, there’s nothing like an intense storm to break that pressure. i especially love storms in the midwest and west – the ones you can see coming, hours in advance. i miss that, from my previous life in texas. i don’t, however, miss the 100+ heat.
thanks for commenting!
I wouldn’t mind a bit of rain down here. Our ‘June Gloom’ is lifting, but summer rain is always nice…even if it’s 2 mins of intense storming XD

i kinda liked 2 intense minutes. it broke the tension in the air, it was AWESOME, and then it was clear and clean! i would order the rain to always come like that, if i were queen.
I’d also love 2 min of rain to cool this place off!
